The Internet Saves the Day

It seems as though there is an endless cycle of holidays. Every few weeks you have to start up the same routine of buying greeting cards, signing each one, addressing the envelope, placing the stamp, and sending them out. Just when you think you’ve finished, yet another holiday pops up and you’ve got to do the same thing all over again.

Cards, cards, and more cards. Nobody wants to keep them forever, yet we all feel guilty throwing them away. Half the time they don’t even get to where they’re going till the holiday has already passed. The internet has solved many a problem for us before…and guess what? It’s about to solve another one.

Get well ecards, music ecards, even funny ecards are available for sending to all of your friends and family. Notice the word “purchase” is nowhere to be found in this sentence. ecards are completely free to use and safe for all ages. The only thing you need to provide is an email address and you’re good to go.

There is no risk of the card not making its way to the receiver on time. These go just as fast as any other email you have ever sent, so you can procrastinate all you like. You could even wait until the actual holiday to send it, and your friends will be none the wiser. There are literally thousands of e cards floating all across cyber space, just waiting for you to choose the one you want.

You can use an ecard to send birthday wishes as well. Nobody wants generic birthday cards full of mass produced, meaningless birthday messages. Unless there’s money inside.

These websites usually give you the option to either make your own ecard from scratch (or from a template), or you can select one from their stock if you would rather not spend the time to personalize every single card. This way you’re not wasting paper or stamps or time. It literally takes seconds, and the recipient already has it practically when you press the “send” button.

We have a string of holidays coming up, one right after another…and we only just got past Valentine’s Day. So what are you going to do for St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and Mother’s Day? On these holidays, especially Mothers Day, acknowledgement is required to keep everybody happy. Mother’s day ecards as well as the Easter and St. Patrick’s Day variety are simple to come by, so don’t worry too much about them.

They literally have an ecard for every occasion. All of the major holidays, and birthdays of course, but there are ecards under a category named “just because” as well. You can find ecards for minor holidays such as presidents’ birthdays and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. There are ecards for every day of the week whether it’s just another Monday or T G I Friday.

For every category there is a sub category so that you can find the right mood for each person; there are funny ones, serious ones, romantic ones, and neutral ones.
